In recent years, companies around the world have been required to assess their environmental impact through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which has become a standard for environmental management by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Many major companies in Japan have adopted LCA in their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) reports and other documents.
